With a profound love for Richmond, we launched #weluvrva to connect with fellow River City enthusiasts and showcase the vibrant people, organizations, and community of RVA. The goal: continue building a great city.
The vision for #weluvrva extends beyond merely promoting Richmond as a destination; we aim to foster a deeper appreciation and love for the city among its residents and visitors. We know Richmond has challenges. What city doesn’t? Our goal is to be one of the voices focused on solutions and proactive involvement. We believe in the power of constructive efforts and community collaboration to build a better Richmond for everyone.
An origin story.
The seed for #weluvrva was planted during a brainstorming session at a local nonprofit back in 2019 where a couple of Richmond enthusiasts dreamed up a way to demonstrate how much love they shared for the people of the RVA.
While the original concept didn’t fit the nonprofit's long-term vision, we loved the concept and felt it was just too good to let disappear.
With a thumbs-up from the nonprofit team, the reins were handed over to steer this passion project.
